MENDIVOQ

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 28 August 2026

Mendivoq is operated by PraxisArc in Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how Mendivoq processes information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses the app and when a merchant's customer uses Mendivoq to correct delivery details after checkout.

1. Information Mendivoq processes

Merchant and store information

Mendivoq processes the merchant's Shopify store domain, installation and authorization information, granted access scopes, app settings such as the customer editing window, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Order and customer information

To provide its order-correction feature, Mendivoq may temporarily process the Shopify order identifier, order status and fulfilment status, order creation time, customer authorization identifiers, name, email address, shipping address, phone number, and Shopify order note. Mendivoq processes only the information required to display, validate, authorize, and submit the requested correction to Shopify.

Minimal audit information

Mendivoq keeps a minimal operational record of correction attempts. This can include the store, Shopify order identifier, request identifier, the names of fields that changed, the outcome, a failure code where applicable, and timestamps. Mendivoq does not intentionally store the previous or replacement name, email, address, phone number, or order-note values in its audit records.

2. How information is used

Mendivoq uses information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • authenticate the merchant or customer and protect the order;
  • locate the correct Shopify order;
  • display and submit authorized delivery-detail corrections;
  • enforce the merchant's editing window and block changes after fulfilment starts or an order becomes ineligible;
  • prevent duplicate requests and record operational outcomes;
  • maintain security, diagnose failures, and provide support; and
  • meet legal, regulatory, and Shopify platform obligations.

Mendivoq does not sell personal information and does not use merchant or customer information for targeted advertising.

3. Information sharing

Mendivoq submits authorized order changes to Shopify. Information may also be processed by service providers that host the application and database or provide essential infrastructure. These providers are permitted to process information only as needed to provide their services or meet legal obligations. Mendivoq may disclose information where required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the service.

Shopify separately processes information under its own privacy terms. Mendivoq does not receive or store customer payment-card details.

4. Cookies and tracking

Mendivoq does not use customer delivery information for advertising and does not independently track customers across stores. Shopify and essential infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technologies to authenticate requests, maintain security, and deliver the service.

5. Data retention

Delivery-detail values are processed to perform the requested Shopify update and are not intentionally retained as copies in Mendivoq's audit records. Store settings, Shopify session data, and limited audit metadata are retained only for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal and Shopify requirements.

When a merchant uninstalls Mendivoq, active Shopify sessions are removed through the app's uninstall process. Remaining app-owned data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations and verified privacy requests.

6. International processing

Mendivoq is operated from Australia. Shopify and the infrastructure providers used to operate Mendivoq may process information in other countries. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards are used for international transfers.

7. Security

Mendivoq uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, authenticated Shopify requests, verified webhook signatures, tenant-isolated access, least-privilege permissions, and limited audit data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Privacy rights and requests

Depending on location, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of their personal information. Customers should normally contact the Shopify merchant from whom they placed the order. Merchants and customers may also contact PraxisArc using the email below.

Mendivoq responds to verified Shopify privacy requests, including applicable customer data requests, customer erasure requests, and shop erasure requests.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Mendivoq's practices, features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
